CPR Courses

The American Heart Association Training Center at Children's Mercy offers:

• CPR Courses for health care providers and the public, including:
• • • Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider--2-year certification for health care providers or those attending a health care provider educational program. 
    • Heartsaver® CPR AED--meets certification requirements for non-health care providers or others interested in learning lifesaving skills (day care workers, teachers, coaches).

• Advanced Life Support Courses for health care providers

  • PEARS--2 year certification for health care providers who have a current BLS Provider Certification

  • PALS Provider--2 year certification for health care providers who have a current BLS certification, but have never completed PALS or PALS certification is expired

  • PALS Update--2 year certification for health care providers who have a current PALS and BLS certification
