Office of Faculty Development
Our Office of Faculty Development (OFD) supports the professional and personal growth of faculty throughout their academic medicine careers, including faculty affairs, advocacy, academic promotion, and scholarly activity support. OFD also spearheads robust educational programming each year for faculty and recommends personalized learning advancement, mentorship, and service opportunities.
Physician Leadership Center
The Physician Leadership Center within the Children’s Mercy Berry Institute is a customized development experience that incorporates workshops, retreats, lean training, coaching, and patient-based learning to build physician leaders across our health system.
Center for Professional Wellbeing
The Center for Professional Wellbeing supports faculty and staff by providing a wide variety of programs including 1:1 sessions with licensed clinical social workers, mindfulness training, guided meditations, support groups and much more. Beyond targeting solely personal resiliency, the Center’s Medical Director also works with top leaders to develop systems that best support finding joy in the workplace.
