Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship
The Division of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutic Innovation at Children's Mercy Kansas City offers a comprehensive fellowship in Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology.
-
It is the only pediatric clinical pharmacology program accredited by the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology in the United States, providing opportunities for advanced clinical and research training.
-
The program encourages research with the involvement of pediatric sub-specialist physicians, other health care professionals, and biomedical scientists committed to the evaluation of drugs in children.
-
In 2012, a new pediatric clinical research unit opened, giving fellows access to state-of-the-art facilities for research and clinical trials.
-
In 2022, the fellowship received renewed funding from the National Institutes of Health to continue the program for a five-year cycle. Read more about the NIH funding.
