Dr. Ayanda Chakawa (Child Psychology) is the first Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholar at Children’s Mercy. Since 2017, she has been providing behavioral health services at the Broadway PCC while spearheading program research and authoring publications and presentations about incorporating cultural diversity. Dr. Chakawa initiated the Promoting Access To Healthy Well-Being Across Youth (PATHWAY) Behavioral Health Program.
