About the Study

MUAC Z-score tape: Monitoring malnutrition for pediatric patients.

This study is being done for children and parents: • Children who are being seen in the GI Interdisciplinary Feeding and Swallowing Program. • Parents will complete a one-time survey to determine if they can accurately obtain infant/child MUAC Z-score measurements using CMH MUAC Z-score tapes provided to them. This study begins with teaching parents how to measure at visit one, then they demonstrate a measurement at visit two on their own and get reteaching if needed. Once that is completed, the survey is sent to the parent to see how they felt about the education and feasibility of actually measuring on their child.
