Academic Curriculum

Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship

There are numerous educational opportunities for the fellow.

Lectures and Conferences

A core fellowship lecture series is held by the hospital. These conferences cover topics that are general to all fellows. It's also a great way to interact and meet the other fellows at the hospital.

Specific pediatric otolaryngology conferences are held weekly at Children's Mercy Hospital, including general pediatric ENT lectures, pathology and radiology conferences.

There are numbers of other optional conferences that occur at Children's Mercy Hospital including weekly Pediatric Grand Rounds, Tumor Board, Oncology Conference and research conferences.

The fellow will teach medical students, residents and other fellows in both the clinical and didactic settings.

Academic Partnerships

The fellow will have occasional required general and Pediatric Otolaryngology conferences at the University of Kansas Medical Center. There will be lectures, mock oral boards, and a Alumni Day presentation and Grand Rounds at this venue.
